While the book type is listed as "Other" I believe that this particular ISBN number refers to the 1965 paperback edition. I can't imagine that this would make a very good children's board book . . . The second book of the Space Trilogy . . . the first being Out of the Silent Planet and the last That Hideous Strength. Continuing Ransome's story he now goes to Venus . . . a very good story.

Not as good as Out of the Silent Planet, much more preachy, but the beginning and end are quite fantastic.
