This was an enjoyable book and has made me a John Saul fan. The story about a high school girl that eventually becomes kidnapped keeps you interested. It's a very quick read. The story is not so far fetched that it couldn't possibly happen and that increases it's appeal.

Sometimes it's so hard to review books but not give anything away! Another Saul winner. He's not afraid to take risks in his stories and I didn't even have a guess until page 296 and the final story didn't really come out until the bitter end (and bitter it is!)

I enjoyed this book. It has a different twist for John Saul. And it has just enough suspense to keep your interest. Not the usual knuckle biter I've come to expect, but the ending was worth the read.
