A very addicting read...I had a hard time putting it down! As a nurse myself, I am frightened by what a seemingly normal woman could do to her patients. This book is a well written and detailed account of the case of a nurse who poisoned and killed several patients at a VA hospital.

This was a really good book. It was hard to believe a Nurse could do the things she did for as long as she did and nothing was done to stop it!!

Well written true crime tale of a nurse that causes medical emergencies to show off for her security guard boyfriend that she is having an extra-marital affair with. And, oh yeah, she ends up committing murders of innocent veterans in the course of all this.

This is w/o a doubt one of the best True Crime books that i've read in awhile. Its one of those "you can't put down books". Very very well written and it was a fast read too! Although thicker than your average PP it is well worth having more pages to read. If you like True Crime, you'll love this. I'd give it 5 stars any day!

In Northampton, Massachusetts, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Kristen Gilber was known as a hardworking, dedicated nurse - so why were her patients dying? So many emergencies and sudden deaths occurred while Kristen made her rounds on Ward C that her colleagues jokingly called her the "Angel of Death." Yet most people didn't suspect the horrifying truth behind the nickname: that Gilbert's polished facade concealed a scheming, manipulative liar and homicidal, narcissistic sociopath.

Just don't like his writing--too long and too many details you just don't need makes for tedious and boring reading
