This truly delightful book will answer questions you never knew you had about the origins of Peter Pan. Told with humor and thrilling adventure, this adventurous tale tells how Peter came to be an ageless, flying boy hated by Captain Hook (and how Hook ended up with that hook), where Tinkerbell came from and why they're living in Neverland. All is revealed in this amazing fantasy concoction by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. By time Captain Hook raises his corset-shaped sail in hot pursuit, you'll be so absorbed you won't be able to put the book down until you get to the end. Like the seven Harry Potter books, this is definitely a book you will want to pass down to future generations to enjoy.

I thought that this was a really fun read. It gives a new spin to earlier parts of Peter's story prior to what we're familiar with from the Disney movie. Even though it's a read aimed towards children, it was written well enough that I didn't find myself annoyed by overly-dramatic teens and sub-standard plot. I'm definitely looking forward to more in the series!
