This is one of Eugenia Riley's better books, It takes you back in time in old New Orleans. I found it very good as I love time swept books.

The story itself is very good. I generally like time travel romance (in fact it's the only paranormal/fantasy romance I will read), but the writing itself leaves much to be desired. I can't really put a finger on what exactly was wrong, but it could've used quite a bit of editing and polishing, which is a shame, because as I said, the base story was very good, if a little bit dated.

I am not sure why I loved this book so much, but I did. Loved all the characters in it and of course I love the time travel in it. I finished it in one day. The writing was good and really an enjoyable read.

ANGEL OF SONG
Beautiful and delicate, songbird Bella De La Rosa's lilting soprano is music from heaven-but fear has kept her confined to the chorus. And now she is onstage at New Orleans's St. Charles Opera House in rehearsal for "KALEIDOSCOPE"-----a re-creation of the infamous production during which the brilliant tenor and notorious rogue Jacques LeFevre was murdered a century ago.

PHANTOM IN TIME
Surely she has gone mad-for Bella can feel Jacques's presence and hear his voice. And suddenly she is with him-magically carried back in time to be passionately awakened in heart, body and song by the dashing, misunderstood scoundrel. For some mysterious power has decreed that Bella must save the enigmatic, irresistible "phantom"-and that she, in turn, must be saved by Jacques's glorious love.
