This book had surprise ending. Two women running from or to something different. One is killed when they collide on a foggy road. Great story and fantastic book. Book is really worth the time it takes to read it.

I wish all of my books were such easy reads. From page one, I was captivated. Literally locked myself away while family was visiting, just so I could keep reading. Looking forward to reading more of Caroline Leavitt's work.
I really liked this book actually couldnt put it down, and even cried in some of the parts. I highly reccomend
An enjoyable book.....some very touching/teary moments reading this one!
I didn't care for the ending. I didn't care for the fathers behaviors. I didn't like that I found several mistakes in the book. I think it was an odd book with potential that it never reached. I wouldn't recommend it.
Based on the "blurb," I wasn't sure I was going to like this book. A book about two women in a car crash and the ramifications of that tragedy on the people involved. It sounded depressing and disturbing. As I read the book, I liked the beginning but wasn't sure I was going to like it all. I was concerned that the author would wrap it up in a nice, neat package. By the end, I could not put the book down. It was not a neat package, but rather an honest look at relationships, grief, and the impact of a tragedy. As such, there are moments of happiness and moments of extreme sadness. I will be thinking about this book for a while.
My favorite line from the book: "She began to realize that everyone she met seemed to have stories of their own, most of which were just as complicated as hers. The only difference......was that they wanted to tell her their stories and she could barely bring herself to think about her own."

Beautifully written. I enjoyed listening to the audio version. I think the writing was actually better than the story...but all in all worth the points!
