A Piece of Blue Sky: Scientology, Dianetics, and L. Ron Hubbard Exposed
A Piece of Blue Sky Scientology Dianetics and L Ron Hubbard Exposed
Author: Jon Atack
Atack exposes Hubbard's bizarre imagination and behavior, tracing the creation of Scientology in the years following World War II to perhaps its final schism following Hubbard's death in 1986. A shocking book that reveals all: the abuses, falsehoods, paranoia, and greed of Hubbard and his pseudo-military Scientologist henchmen.

After reading the biography Tom Cruise by Andrew Morton, I ordered this book because I was curious about Scientology. The fact that it is called a "religion" is laughable when you find out some of horrible things people have gone through while serving the "church". It is interesting how people can be led to believe in something that is straight out of one of Hubbard's sci-fi books. Members have been emotionally, physically, financially & verbally abused by the higher ups in Scientology. It makes for some interesting reading.
