This is not my usual genre, but I thought I'd mix things up a bit. I'm so glad I did! While I've read Michael Crichton before, this was really different for me. There is plenty of action and the author isn't shy about reality when a bullet or knife is used. I loved the descriptions of the area and ocean and the performer/reader of the audio book used great accents. There are surprises here and there and although the ending is expected, it was still good and I was actually sorry to have it end, as I wanted to ride along with Captain Hunter on his ship some more!
