A Place of Peace is the third book in Amy's Kauffman Amish Bakery series. Timothy Kauffman and Miriam Lapp were set to marry, until rumors drove them apart, and Miriam's family rejected her. The story moved slowly, despite tons of twists and turns. I also noticed some phrases being used excessively. Still, it was an enjoyable way to pass the car rides over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
