The biography is definitely self-serving, but then what biography isn't. Still I found Mudd's descriptions of the "young" journalists he palled around with, for instance, Dan Rather, to be altogether fascinating. The book is also a disturbing comment on how low journalism has fallen from the days when Mudd was presiding over the evening news.

lots of tv history and what went behind the scenes during historical events, over 30 years.
