I hoped for more from this novel, as I'd never read a book focusing on Henry VIII's third wife and mother of his longed-for prince. Unfortunately, the author turned Jane into a very boring character who did little more throughout the book than sew, blush and obsess about her plainness. Only in the last third of the book did the story get mildly interesting.

I LOVED this book!!! I read it in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd never read a book about Jane Seymour, and this was an excellent start.

This was a very good book and a quick read. I liked this book because Jane is so often overlooked BUT she is the one who FINALLY gave him his legitimate heir. I had never read a book that focused on Jane and I have read many books about and based on the Tudors. I really did enjoy this book mainly because it was not long and drawn out. I read it in 3 days and never got bored. Very good book based on a good lady.
Wonderfully written. I learned things about Jane Seymour I didn't know and I thought I knew the "wives' quite well.
love affair between Henry VIII and Jayne Seymour
