Magdalena is at it again, trying to maintain sanity while planning a wedding and having, this time, an old mystery resurface that has stunning complications and connections. Good read.

I did not care for this Mennonite/Amish fiction. There were SOME funniest but mostly I found the humorous always critical & negative, albeit these are fictional characters it was just TOO much.

I didn't like this one as much as I have others in the series. There were a lot of characters to follow and I got a bit confused. Still some funny lines but I struggled to get through this one.

Magadalena Yoder finds a corpse in a barrel of sauerkraut she receives as a wedding present. She has one week before her wedding to solve this mystery. This book is one of a series about Magadalena, the owner of the Penn-Dutch Inn. It includes a receipe.
