If you like some humor in your erotic sci-fi, you'll enjoy this one. Kate Pearce does a great job in her first effort on the Planet books. The follow up to this one isn't quite as light, I actually prefer this first story of Douglass crash landing on a Viking-like planet and being surrounded by men who want nothing more than to please her. (As my husband says, "Doesn't every planet have a Viking these days?".) Worth the read!

Futuristic erotic romance from Ellora's Cave. Douglass (a woman)is an Intergalactic mail carrier, who crashes on an unknown planet. There are problems on this planet, and many women are infertile. She is found the the planet's leader, Marcus, who decides to keep her. Douglass wants to go home. Then, another woman claims that she is carrying Marcus' baby. Marcus is torn between his duty to his people, and his love for Douglass. This one won't win any litary awards, but it is fun, and engaging. Everybody lives happily ever after.

OK, the storyline was entertaining, but the rest of the book needed to be "fleshed-out" (no pun intended) The characters were one-dimentional, and everything just slid along, no explanation for some of more intriguing problems. Either Ms. Pearce wrote this in her sleep (& I know she can write soooo much better than this) or her teen-aged neighbor has ghost-written it for her.
