This small volume would make a nice gift. It is a very, VERY basic introduction to philosophy and its terminology, using jokes as examples and as parts of explanations. Some of the jokes are laugh out loud funny, some are very corny, and some are just bad. I don't know much about philosophy so I cannot comment on the book's technical accuracy, but supposedly the authors were philosophy majors at Harvard which should lend them some street cred (at least in casual readers of philosophy circles.)

Even if you slept through any pholosophy class you've ever taken, this book will keep you interested, and maybe even explain a few things in a way your professor never could - a way to remember it!

This is a great read. Lots of knowledge and lots of funny. Laughed out loud many times.
