Great little mystery series for dog lovers. A quick read. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

I liked a lot of things about this book, the concept, the mystery, the dogs but and it's a big but, I hated how the main character didn't talk to the police enough, didn't march right down to the station and demand a conference with the detective. She took too much into her own hands and I kept thinking, "Call the police, lady!"

Enjoyed this new author to me very much. Good story, love the dogs and the training hints. Enjoyable characters.

I found the protagonist easy to relate to as she loves dogs. This is the first in the Allie Babcock Series and introduces all the necessary background information to allow the reader to get caught up in the daily life of the 'dog therapist'.
This author is very good at cliff hangers at the end of chapters, so you can't stop reading. :-D
Dog therapist Allie Babcock plays shrink to a despondent collie - the prime witness to a murder.
This is a very fun, lighthearted mystery series if you love dogs and female heroines. This is the first book in the series. Enjoy!
A nice cozy mystery that moves right along. A young woman who is opening a business as a pet pyschologist (dog trainer) becomes involved in two unsolved murders when she adopts the german shepherd who belonged to the first victim. Author introduces a variety of supporting characters (mother, roommate, dog training clients, officemate) and the plot moves along smoothly. No gore, horror or moldering romances. Book comments on main character's relationship with roommate, mother , clients, murder suspects and officemate. Main character is a strong, intelligent, independent woman...read book a couple of chapters at a time. Very enjoyable...will now start second book in the series.
What a surprise this little book was! It was most enjoyable and a quick read. It's light, funny with some romance and mystery thrown in, and of course, the dogs. I will definitely read more from this author.
The collie on the cover got my attention for this book. I had a collie named Chloe when I was a kid. I still miss her. The book was a lot of fun to read and kept me guessing at every turn. Allida Babcock had the worst day of her life. It included finding a murder victim, a flat tire, a blind date set up by her Mom and other nasty things. It was an enjoyable book and I hope to read more of her books.
