average writing, but cute story - love the quotes from the toy "peter" and calling the ex by his initials 'pms'. didn't really get the point of a 'pleasure master' who didn't understand and was afraid to feel love. characters seemed a little one-dimensional to me.

I could not get throught this book...which is unusual for me. It left me restless to 'get it over with' and on to another book.

Modern day woman meets 1542 man who is his clans Pleasure Master. Lots of good bantor. Along with his 2 brother and her bag of electronic toys, the plots unfold and result in an entrancing and delightful romp between era's. I especially like the willingness of Bangs heros from the past to embrace things futuristic so eagerly (as also happened in her novel, An Original Sin).
A truly delightful read.
