This is one of her better ones of the "between the numbers/Diesel" series. It features the whole gang, including Grandma and the lit'l guy we met in 6, off to Atlantic City where most of the action takes place.

This is the first of Janet Evanovich's books I've read and the combo of suspense & Laugh out loud moments was perfect.. Each character hilarious in their own way. I was glad that this book was just one of a series of many others (of which i will definitly be reading at some point)

This book was really funny and entertaining. Janet Evanovich really knows how to write a book. I recommend it.

I think Janet Evanovich should give up on the Between the Numbers book. It is to keep her followers happy between the main books. If you are a die-hard Stephanie Plum fan then you will enjoy them. I find the between the numbers do not have any chemistry and focus on Stephanie. My sister is a big fan of the Plum series and enjoys the between the number books and I prefer to skip them. I like the series so much I wouldn't want to tell anyone not to read this book, but I would definately read one of the number books first.

The entire series based on bondswoman Stephanie Plum is very entertaining and this in between is no exception. Grandma Mazur is the wild grandma not found in real life very often, but that all of us would love just maybe not permanent. Diesel is another hunk to sweeten up the romance, which is in the background. I have read the entire series and have not been disappointed.

Laugh out loud author. I would read many more of her books about these characters. Very entertaining.

Oh, Stephanie...how can you do it over and over again?? She makes me laugh most of the time and I hope I am just like her Grandma when I get older!! Gangsters and granny-what a treat!!

The Plum Books that are "in between" the number series are ok - the story lines seem to be a bit silly, whereas the number series books have a realistic plot.

I don't know if it's just me, but I really think that this series has been going downhill with the past few books. It just doesn't feel as funny as it did when I had read the first books with the Plum gang. The characters never change and you can pretty much guess how every book is going to end. I also don't know why the author bothers to have characters who work with law enforcement in this book because it seems like nobody knows how to obey the law. If this were any other series, the characters would've been arrested or in prison by now. I've had to learn to read it as a parody of actual mystery books because so many things are just so out there sometimes. I don't even laugh as much as I used to because the parts that are supposed to be funny just feel like they've been done before in this series. (I mean seriously, we already know Lula is an awful dresser--I don't need another fashion update every ten pages.)

Overall, the book is weak, but a fast read, and I'm glad all I spent on it was a credit.

This series has really gone downhill. I wanted to like Plum Lucky, but it was just kind of stupid. I know these books are light, fluffy reads anyway, but the series used to be fresh and funny. Anymore it is just lame and rehash. I think I am done with Stephanie Plum.

Evanovich's Stephanie Plum is always a good, quick read. She seems to get herself into more trouble than one person should - this book is no different. Grandma Mazur, one of my favorite charachters in this series, is constantly amusing the readers with her antics - she's one feisty Granny. I normally read the more serious crime novels, but I read these for the fun value. I need a little light-hearted reading in between the blood and guts of the other hard-core criminal novelists. Thanks Evanovich.

This didn't interest me as much as most of her other books that I've read, but it was a quick read and a nice break from heavier stuff.

Grandma Mazur loose in Atlantic City with a bag full of money. Need I say more? While I like Diesel, I still prefer Morelli and Ranger, so I didn't rate it as high as the regular books in the series.

I am not as much a fan of the between the numbers books, I seem to always read them out of order and they do not hold my interest as well.
