Classic Miss Marple. Not the best one, but I love them all.

A nursery rhyme appears to be the clues to multiple murders. The inspector does a great job digging out facts; unfortunately they keep pointing to different suspects. Finally, enter Miss Marple. She takes on a minor role, but of course solves the murderscomplete conjecture, however. A final note at the last page provides some substantiation of the first murder. It is up to the reader to surmise how the inspector proves the case, to include the two subsequent murders. This is an interesting story up to the final 20 pages or so when Miss Marple submits her theorysans proof and, I thought, poorly explained. To add insult, the inspector in the final pages uncovers two other crimes (by the same character) one of which he covers up and the other he fails to pursue. So, for me this once interesting story turns preposterous and unbelieveable.
