Bought the book after viewing a made-for-TV movie called The Soul Collector, made from this book. Actually like the movie better, a first for me. However, the book was a good supernatural romance.

Zacariah, a soul collector (sort of angel of death) is punished for laxity on the job by having to spend a month on earth living as a human. Enter Rebecca....a widowed ranch owner with a child. Plot and romance thicken. Takes place in 1875.
