The poetry that has been selected for this book is appropriate for high school students, college and the general reading public. None of the poems seem obtuse but are easy to enjoy. The poems are intended to be read to high school students, one a day, for the pure pleasure of hearing them read. However, the book would provide enjoyment for an individual reader as well.
