I love to watch Ellen DeGeneres, but I have to say I was kind of disappointed in this book. She writes likes she talks, very rapid and brief. I have a hard time reading books that are set in that tone.
I thought parts of it were funny, but I would much rather watch her on television.

Ellen has always been a hilarious comedian. In this novel, she has times where she could be very funny, but then many other times it felt like she just rambled on about nonsense. I've always loved Ellen as a stand-up comedian, but I think I'd rather watch that than read her book. I struggled some just to finish this.

I was really looking forward to reading this, but it didn't live up to my expectations. It just wasn't funny. Cute maybe, but not funny. I do like Ellen, so it was disappointing.

I hated this book. I like Ellen a lot, but this was really dumb. I thought there would be some funny stories about her life, but it was all just stuff she made up that wasn't very funny.
Ellen is the best with humor. She does have a point and does get it across very well. I was smiling through the whole book.
