It soon becomes apparent to Miss Silver that the suicide was murder and that there is a vicious and demented killer at work. The officious letters still come, exposing or accusing, and the terror mounts with two more seemingly unconnected murders. Once again I was totally at a loss as to who the killer was, until the last few pages. And I was disappointed the killer wasn't the person I wanted it to be. Which is why I only gave it 4.5 stars. :-)
Hopefully, the next published edition will leave Miss Silver out of the story so that my favorite suspect will be arrested, tried and convicted.
