This one turned out to be a stinker for me. They'd talk about a character apparently mentioned earlier in the book that I didn't even remember, simply because I couldn't keep my attention on the book. I couldn't care less about the characters, there was nothing to connect my interest to the story, and the plot was just dumb. In a nutshell, not enough to hold my attention and keep me interested in reading along. Disappointing.

A beauty pageant, demonstrators and a murder in a small town. Grace is once again in the middle of things. Strong women characters(think Steel Magnolias) and southern mayhem. A certain GBI agent is working on making his move. Quick, fun read 4 stars.
