Possession is absolutely not my favorite so far. I would love to pick apart the book without spoiling the book for review readers, but I don't think that's possible. So much didn't make sense. #1 question: If you're freed from hell, wouldn't you go to heaven? #2: Jim and Devina are at war, and to win or lose 'the flag' they have to convince a chosen soul to turn in their direction. Why would the chosen soul be a person that most likely wouldn't turn bad, or a soul that is already led a life like he was possessed by a demon. #3: Cait, our protagonist, can't find her way out of a closet. And yet she spent most of the book driving around, late at night, looking for whatever. #4: Can we get on with who or what Dog is and the janitor? #5: Why is Sissy always so damn mad?
The list goes on. I read the whole book because I have no intentions of skipping the next one, but I sure did have a hard time getting through this one. I'll five it 3 stars, but only because I love JR Ward and she can't always be at the top of her game.
