This was one of my least favorite in the Blades series. I didn't like either of the characters, finding them both to be shallow and unrealistic. Eric was a more believable character in Chasing Stanley. Is anyone in the soap world really this tore up about compromising their art for a paycheck? It felt like an ego trip for them both clear up to the end. I didn't feel like there were enough "real" moments in their "fake" romance to propel it to a forever relationship.
Helpful Score: 1
Not my favorite in her series; I had a hard time buying this romance.
you cant go wrong with Deirdre Martin. Her books are always fun to read
I've read all the books in the Blades series and so far this was my least favorite. I didn't like the h/h until near the end of the book. They were both far too egotistical, arrogant, and immature.
There wasn't nearly as much humor as in the previous books. I almost stopped reading midway through, but I'm glad I finished because it ended much better than it began. I finally started laughing about 2/3 of the way through the book. I started warming up to the characters at that point, too. Cheesy ending, but aren't they all?

My Favorite out of the series, great read.
I haven't read the others in the series, but didn't care for the man and woman in this one. They were very shallow and self absorbed.
It ended ok and I will read some of the others to see if the characters are more likeable and the story more interesting.
