This is a cleverly constructed book on aromatherapy and there are far more recipes than one would expect in such a small book. Most aromatherapy books have a long list of essential oils that should not be used by pregnant women. However, this book adds a variety of Maternity Mixes oils and recipes that are good for prenatal, birthing and postnatal uses.

I did have 2 problems with this book; thus the 4 star rating. The font was hard to read and the pictures behind the printing made it hard to read. When the pictures were light colored (such as pink), the print showed clearly enough; when the pictures were in stronger colors (in the background), it was hard to read the small print.

If you are looking for an intro book on the subject of aromatherapy, this is a great little volume.
