There are 6 major segments to the book:
Chapter 1 presents an explanation of the basic theory of value clarification.
Chapter 2 comprises 29 activities with variations, which may be used by the facilitator in adapting and designing new approaches.
Chapter 3 discusses design consideratioins relevant to value-clarification programs and gives a check list for evaluating new activities and designs.
At the end of chapter 3, sample designs are provided for an introductory opening session, one-day and three-day sessions, and a series of eight sessions, to help a new facilitator get started.
Chapter 4 includes background readings in value clarification.
The concluding section is an annotated bibliography, provided as a resource for those who may want to do additional reading and studying in the field.
