This book gives insite into the Bori and Danaus. Makes me more interested in the next book. Mira and Danaus are more interesting in many ways than Cat and Bones in another series I have enjoyed reading. Danaus narrates instead of Mira, probably because Mira is losing her mind. . . seemingly vulnerable and weaker than Danaus. Danaus has to protect her. The ending was surprising but not unexpected. The Bori are pure evil.
