"Prayer Walk" by Janet Holm McHenry is the story of one woman's life changing experience. McHenry is a busy mom, teacher, wife, and Christian who desires to spend more time in prayer and become more physically fit. She determines to do both at the same time. At the beginning of her school year she purposes to get up early and walk her town while praying for those dear to her. After a time she becomes more aware of needs in her community and begins to include those in her morning prayer walks.
This is a inspiring book of one woman's determination to change her life for the better. She shares practical examples from her life and offers suggestions to make the change in your life. She is very open and honest in the ups and downs of her prayer walking experience, while sharing inspiring Bible verses.
"Prayer Walk" is well written and easy to read. I am motivated to begin prayer walking in my own community.
