I asked for this book thinking it was about the sabbath. It is a first novel for the author. I wanted to write this so the next person would know they are getting a novel not a religious book!

A "coming-of-age" for Judith, who grew up in a Jewish family. She is searching for a passionate, ecstatic kind of love. Ori has awakened desire in her & she wants to see if it will develop the way she wants. She follows Ori & his sister Jessie (who becomes her best friend/confidante) across America to England & then on to Jerusalem where she discovers for herself a way of living & loving that last a lifetime.
