A bit difficult to begin reading (drags a little), but it picks up after chaper 2. The characters are interesting, easy to follow, but the plot is a tad predictable. Good reading while traveling.
The tale of a love affair in the height of the Vietnam war soldier meets girl leaves girl with child and returns to his home country never thinking of the past again. Our hero seeks out a cadre of hard core types to accomplish the great task of rescuing her before the world finds out her identity.
Sean Dillon the feature of many Higgins novels clever and suave as always is handling the security details for the President before being enlisted to find his kidnapped daughter.
Twists and turns around every corner don't trust your first instinct everything isn't what it seems with Jack Higgins.
