This is a mystery with interesting characters and a compelling plot involving murder and adultery. Although the book does not measure up, in my opinion, to Gerritsen's later works, it is still a good read.
Good mystery but I still like her later books better.
Very good, ending was kind of predictable but still moving!
quick easy read. verys suspenseful.
I found this book to be very interesting and hard to put down!
Another early Gerritsen work but very enjoyable!
Miranda Wood's ex-lover is found stabbed to death in Miranda's bed with Miranda's kitchen knife. They say she had motive and oportunity. She says she is innocent. She is let out on bail by someone anonymous. A kind act? Or a way to draw Miranda into the dark and secret world of a murdered man?
Gerritsen has done it again, with a novel that delivers romance, murder, mystery, and an ending you won't beleive! Miranda Woods is over her affair with prominent Richard Tremain but he won't take "no" for an answer--until the day he winds up dead. In Miranda's bed, with her kitchen knife as the murder weapon. What follows next is an investigation into the town that holds secrets, sometimes to the grave. The ending is wonderful, I never guessed "whodunnit".
