I don't know if it was the mood I was in or the book but I just couldn't get into this one. Finally put it down and haven't even tried reading it again. very dry and boring.
Great book. Loved how they told about all the different places in Carmel, like being home again for me.
Another wonderful book. If you are a Nina O'Reilly fan then you will enjoy this book.
The complex relationship of an attorney, arson, and an unlikely suspect. Fast moving mystery of a town filled with secrets.
In this one Nina Reilly is at it again, trying to solve crime and clear the name of a friend. Someone is setting fires in Carmel Valley, someone has died, the wrong person has been blamed. The book is very fast-paced and exciting.
It's a good read, and Perri O'Shaughnessy fans won't be disappointed in this Nina O'Reilly book.

as always with their books...it was very good!
Published in 2004, this continuation of the popular series finds attorney Nina O'Reilly working in Carmel Valley, rather than South Lake Tahoe, as she explores a more committed relationship with her long term boyfriend and PI working partner, Paul. The story gets even more personal since the accused is the son of Nina's legal secretary, and has been working for Paul. But now the police suspect him of both ecoterrorism and murder, in a series of arson fires that have been threatening new development.
virtually demands to be read in one setting. two men and a killer whose motives are complex and chilling
I love the main character, a strong woman, and I love legal thrillers.
I always enjoy Nina Reilly and this one centers around Sandy's son Wish
This series just keeps getting better!
