I really liked it and enjoyed myself. I found it hard to put down. Even though I knew what was likely going to happen because I know the Pride and Prejudice story, I thought that Pride, Prejudice, and Jasmin Field was originally done and was humorous. It was very different from the original because of the modern setting, with Jazz/Lizzy having a job as a reporter and her work issues, while Harry's actor background is very different from the Darcy in Jane Austen's book. It was fun to see Nathan's creativity in translating the Austen book to this setting.

A light and funny update of Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

Modern retelling of the Pride and Prejudice story with Jasmin Field as Elizabeth Bennett and her overbearing director as Mr. Darcy. I really enjoyed this book because I am a huge P & P fan.

A funny twist to Pride and Prejudice
I enjoyed this book, but did find it a little weird that the characters were doing a play of Pride and Prejudice, but that the actually story also mirrored Pride and Prejudice. Don't get me wrong, P&P is one of my very favorite books, but it was a bit much.

This is the first book I read by this author, a very witty British author who died in 2006 from breast cancer while in her mid thirties. It's a good read, with quirky British humor. I'm going to find the other books she wrote and read those too.
A lot of fun. Great wit.
Fun and funny. A modern day tale within a tale after Pride and Prejudice.
More chick-lit snacking, based on Pride and Prejudice. Go for it, you know you want to.
Good take on a classic...
