A fun, fun debut of a great series and heroine. Kate Milholland, of the Chicago Milhollands, works in M&A. Usually a man's field, but that doesn't stop Kate. Nothing does, it seems.
Don't overlook this series; it's a nontraditional set-up (and there's plenty of weed smoked in this book alone), but that's what makes it. Kate and the cast of characters assembling around her are real people, fully-developed characters, and the plots are different enough to be neat, intricate enough to give your brain a good workout, and just plain fun.
