Jonathan Kellerman's character of Alex Delaware is very well developed. You care about him and know that he will do what it takes to help his patients. In this story a former patient, who was just seven years old when he first worked with her, is needing his help again...not for herself, but her agrophobic mother, a beautiful woman haunted by demons from her past. As the story develops, the reader is drawn into a world of terror that reaches a chilling conclusion. A real page-turner!!

Alex Delaware once again to the rescue, this time of one of his former patients, a young girl who called a help line at age 7. Now 18, she needs Delaware's help again, to deal with a fear that's all too real. A late-night page-turner - don't start it if you have to get up early!

Its been 11 years since 7 yr old Melissa dialed the hospital for comfort and therapy with Alex. Now the lovely young heiress is deperately calling for the psychologist's help again. This time it looks like her childhood nightmare is coming true.

This was a real page turner. One of those books where you think you know who did it and how, but then it throws a few more twists at you. It was a really great read, to say the least. A little slow to start out, though. Once the story really started to unfold though... wow.
