I have read all of Stephen White's novels and enjoyed them immensely. In Priviledged Information we are introduced to Alan Gregory who is a very interesting character. This book is a real thriller and very suspenseful. I could not put it down, like all of White's books. I find his books every bit as good as Jonathan Kellerman's. Perhaps more so as Alan Gregory's relationships with others are explored more deeply than Alex Delaware's.

This was the first book by White that I have read and I was not disappointed. The story moved at a decent pace and had some suspense. I was a little bothered with so much of the focus being on the confidentiality it became repetitive. White does an excellent job developing all of his characters. A very good read. I can't wait to start Private Practices the next in the series.

Great! Had already read Book 2 so was eager to learn how it all began. Love the characters, the twists and humor, and eager to read more of this series. Quick read. Engaging. Fun.

Why did I wait to start reading Stephen White's books? This was excellent. I'm looking forward to continuing with the Alan Gregory series. Anyone who is a fan of Jonathan Kellerman will be an instant fan of White.

Clinical psychologist Alan Gregory is having a run of very bad luck: his wife has left him, he is being accused of sexual misconduct with a patient, and his dog has been given a very weird haircut. But when his female patients start turning up dead, he has to try to figure out who could be responsible, and why. And will any of this sour his new relationship with the very attractive assistant DA, who has a secret or two of her own.

This was Stephen White's first book in the Alan Gregory series which I really like. It was okay but had I read this one before any of the others I would never have read another Stephen White book. I thought it would never end.
