The horror in this novel is gripping and gruesome, so it's not for weak stomachs. This author's unusual approach to the psychological struggles of his hero and of the villains is what makes it special, though.

This is another good book in the series. Killer Trevor Lucas is holding hostages in a psychiatric hospital. Frank Clevenger may be able to strike a deal, but he only has 24 hours...

Keith Ablow is a wonderful writer, but I just couldn't get into this book. I read it in a day, but for the plot there were just too many characters and digressions. I recommend his book Psychopath, instead of this one.

This book picks up right where Denial leaves off. I couldn't put it down after the first page.

This book gave me nightmares. Imagine a doctor who believes satan is in everyone who opposes him. Now imagine this doctor taking over a mental hospital and 'treating' everyone - patients and staff. If you are into graphic violence and torture explained away with ideas about the human psyche you will love this book.

I really enjoy this author. He goes into so much detail about all the different aspects of being a forensic physiologist. I cant wait to read the rest of his series

This is the second book by Keith Ablow and is about Dr. Frank Clevenger. It takes up where his first book Denial left off. It explores the human frailities and our weaknesses. Dr. Clevnger has to fight his own demons along with the demons of an accused killer to find out the truth and bring to justice those who have commited the crimes. Good read. However I strongly suggest that you read Denial first.

Even though it not a very long book it tends to stretch things too far and kind of drags some things out and it got tedious in places but I'll give it a 3
