I am not quite finished with this book but I am loving it!! This book evoked such an emotional response in me with the way he describes the people and customs of the small town and experiences of the story. The mystery of it is well written and although I'd never heard of this author before now, I will be eagerly searching out the rest of his books!! Thank you to the member who sent this to me for introducing me to a new favorite.
This is the third in the Jordan Poteet series. Again it is a delight to read about the conspiracies and mores of small town life--this series taking place in Texas. The tale intrigues with a series of deaths that appear to be connected and have a genesis in an event twenty years earlier. While "whodunit" appears obvious, the obvious becomes murky as the story twists and turns with surprises aplenty. For good light, relaxing reading, I recommend it to all, especially Texans.
very, very , very good!!! I read it in 2 days!
