Just okay. Although the story was kind of interesting, it didn't really do anything for me. It seems like just another NDE story (near death experience).

I have read a few "afterlife" accounts and this one follows a normal pattern, for any one who believes in God and what happens after death. This book was obviously written by someone who did not believe before this experience. He slipped into this coma and experienced many wondrous activities, seeing a peaceful existence, being handled by a guide, talking to the supreme being are all things that many people have experienced. If you believe in a Supreme Being then this is all second nature to you but he has written this book for his collegues and constantly uses very scientific and medical terms that constantly send you to a dictionary for meaning. Not sure why this book is so highly rated, I think many Christian people(including me) are not happy about purchasing the book. But if it converted him then it is one more person that has seen more than the light.
