I liked this book a lot - as a matter of fact, I thought it was too short!! I would have liked it go farther into the future with the main character. Very interesting period in time and I liked the fact that this story was told from a woman's point of view.

Property is a novel set in the early 1800's, told in the voice of a very unhappy plantation owners wife. Amids slave uprisings she has to deal with her husbands obvious infidelity with a slave girl, Sarah. I read this one in a few hours, couldn't put it down!
