Futuristic romance from Samhain Publishing. N'yota was a planet immersed in a war between the two ruling families. There was a prophecy that peace would come when a child was born of parents from each of the ruling Families. So, the governing body forced the prophecy into existance, by creating the child by science and medicine. Lia was born to fulfill the prophecy, and her life was dictated by the government. Until by chance, Lia escaped. Now, Talon, the man she was married to, on the day of her birth, as found her, and wants to drag her back. This is a good book. Both characters are sympathetic. Lia just wants to control her own life, and avoid assassination. Talon wants peace for his world. Can they achieve what they want, and find happiness? Well written. There is a sequel. I'll read it. Worth a credit.
