One of the best David Morrell books I've read yet....No one knows his real name. No one knows where he lives. This is an excellent book, one you won't want to put down.
More action than in a lot of Morrell. Some of his spycraft has been recycled, and his plot macguffins tend to be similar, but on the whole one of his better books.
Another great book from Morrell
Bodies drop,building burn, choppers roar, and fists fly. The story unfolds quickly, accelerates to wrap speed, and hurtles to a stunning climax.
Like most of Morrell's books this one has non-stop action and some interesting ideas. Good page-turner.

"The Protector" is pretty much what you would expect from the author of "Rambo".
The book reads a bit like a special combat handbook. The weapons and tactics are accurate, the story is engaging, and the characters are fairly sympathetic and easy to identify with. It does, however, require a certain suspension of disbelief.
Despite the fact that our hero retires at the end of the book, I have to believe there will be another.
