Wonderful high quality glossy paper stock hard-bound copy. From the opening essay entitled "Other Ways of Seeing", this book contains a multitude of stories of famous people with abilities such as the clairvoyance of Emanuel Swedenborg of Stockholm, Sweden. On July 19, 1759 at a party he was attending, he went outside, then returned after a bit to announce that there was a raging fire 300 miles away that consumed his neighbor's house 3 doors from his own. A short time later he told the startled guests the fire was extinguished. There are 150 pages of tales of mystic shamans, the science of ESP, Black Elk's great visions, down to do-it-yourself dowsing rods. Beautiful color plates & b&w photos make for a delightful coffee table conversation piece.
Another book in the Mysteries of the Unknown series, it goes in depth about the various powers people have claimed to have over time, from whether or not such powers exist to how they could possibly work.
Very interesting read.
Very interesting if your into this type of study.
THIS IS A BOOK OF THE KNOWLEDGE, BEYOND THE 5 SENSES, SCIENCE OF ESP, THE WORLD OF THE PSYCHIC, PUTTING PSI TO WORK, AND MANY, MANY MORE SUBJECTS. THIS WAS AWESOME. WISH I HAD READ THIS BOOK A LONG TIME AGO.
