if you love barbie you'll love this book.it has lots of wonderful real-like pictures and large print.
My 8 year old daughter really liked this book, and as we had just studied ancient Egypt it was a good add-on. It is not full of facts but is respectful and tasteful. Barbie comes to visit a friend who is an archaeologist, and while in an ancient tomb with her Barbie gets lost from her friends when she follows a strange sound. She finds the source of the sound--a kitten, decides to wait for her friends to find her, falls asleep and has a dream of herself and her friend as princesses of ancient Egypt. We especially enjoyed the pictures.
