A Q adventure that takes place after the end of the tv series. This trilogy was one of the better novel stories. Q deals with the mistakes of his past and has to deal with the appearance of a being that is far more powerful than he.

This is the first book in a three book cycle that continues in the books Q-Zone and Q-Strike. This trilogy shows Q as a young omnipotent being loose in the universe. He befriends another being that has a bad influence on the young Q and causes several problems for the universe. This story is about Q coming to terms with the mistakes he made as a petulant youth and correcting what he once did wrong.
Very strong storytelling and a great Star Trek tale to boot. Lots of Q action and information. Definitely worth the read. This book also ties into the original series in a clever way. If you like Q and the Next Generation books, give this trilogy a try.
