This was #2 out of 3. It was an easy and fun read. Lizzie is such a fun character. You really become invested in her story. The main thing I will worn you about is that you had better have "Queen of Babble gets Hitched" lined up before you read this, because this really leaves you hanging. Lots and lots of fun!

As the sequel of QUEEN OF BABBLE, the crazy antics of Lizzie Nichols were expected and delivered. There will obviously be another book in this series, because the ending is such a cliff-hanger!
Lizzie now lives in New York and is living with her boyfriend, Luke, and is looking for a job. She finds one but... they don't pay. So what is she going to do for money?
On top of all of her financial issues, Lizzie thinks that there might be something very special in that box under the Christmas tree. But is it what she expects?
Lizzie is such a realistic character and she is so funny and real! So much of what she does can be related to real life.
QUEEN OF BABBLE IN THE BIG CITY is a fun, new, easy read from my favorite author, Meg Cabot.

Second in a 3 book series. Very funny, lighthearted book about a young woman coming into her own and becoming successful in both her professional and personal lives. Quick read. I loved the whole series!

Queen of Babble in the Big City is a strong follow up to the first book. The characters remain engaging and fun. I look forward to reading the third installment.

Meg Cabot is one of the few authors that leaves me wanting more with each book. I liked the first one in this series, but I loved this one. I've read everyone of her books, even the teenage series, and each one is filled with well-developed characters that make you laugh and at the same time, identify with the the main character.

I love this series. Lizzie, the main character is so relateable. Sometimes while reading its like I'm talking with one of my friends.

Meg Cabot really brings characters to life in my opinion. I listened to Queen of Babble (first in series) on audiobook first. I may have to go back and read it in print. Although I enjoyed listening I was able to really dive into the story by reading it!
I really, really enjoyed this book...an easy summer by the pool type of book. Well written, believable story line...She's someone I could be friends with..just ordered the 3rd in the series, looking forward to it

great book read the series backwards and story was still great
Usually I'm pretty disinterested w/ plots about weddings, wedding dresses, etc. but I love that the lead character's profession is revamping (sometimes very ugly and unflattering) wedding dresses into something fabulous and reflective of the person wearing it. Would love for this to be made into a movie! Or ready for another book!
This is a great sequal to the first Queen of Babble. I couldn't believe the ending and how Meg Cabot leaves you wanting more and wanting to know what's going to happen in the next one. I couldn't put this book down!

2nd book of three in the Queen of Babble Series. Very quick read. Good chick lit. Written in the same manner as Sophie Kinsella's books.

This book was a fun read. I had read a few serious books and needed something light. This was the one to read! The main character is very likeable. And her friends seem very real, like they could be someone who I would hang out with. Very enjoyable!
Great story!
