I wanted to like it, but I found the writing style a bit dull. I know it is the first of a series, so the other books may improve. I don't think I will read them, though, since I am enjoying a different series set during the same period more (Ursula Blanchard as the main character.)
TBR--Give me at least a week if ordered to read it and mail it.
