I finished this book feeling very disappointed and let down. It is the last in the Stormlands series and left nearly everything unresolved. The book opens with no one knowing if King Hael is still alive and at the end of the book, we still don't know if King Hael lives. New characters are introduced, but in spite of what the book cover would have you think, they really don't play a large role in the outcome. I feel like Roberts just got tired of this series and these characters and just quit writing about them.
