A fun read. We enjoyed it. Language a little hard for my 9-year old to grasp at times, but I explained things once in a while, and overall she liked it.
Love the book. It's perfect as a family read for younger children or a great read alone for older kids.

All the animals of the Hill were very excited about the news and wondered how thingswould change. Would the new Folks bring dogs, traps, and guns? Or would they be planting Folks who would care for the land and grow rich crops? It had been years since there had been a garden at the House.
